HOW TO REACH US
In the historic center, just 400 meters from Piazza Sordello and the main cultural attractions of the city,
the Diocesan Museum can be reached by car without passing through the ZTL
• BY CAR
From the A22 Modena / Brennero motorway
exit MANTOVA NORD - San Giorgio di Mantova. Follow the directions for the center (5 km away).
At the entrance to the city, immediately after crossing the lakes, at the roundabout take the first right and after a few meters take via S. Giorgio (on the left). Follow the road up to Piazza Sordello (a few hundred meters); turn right alongside the Duomo and take via Cairoli until you reach piazza Virgiliana.
The Museum is on the left. Toll parkings available in Piazza Virgiliana.
In order not to enter the city by car, it is possible to use the free parking "Campo Canoa" which is located at the entrance to the city, just outside the lakes belt, at the beginning of the San Giorgio bridge (approx. distance from the Museum).
It is connected to the historic center by a free shuttle service.
Arrival in piazza Sordello; runs every 15 minutes.

Railway connections from the stations of: Milan, Verona, Modena, Bologna, Padova, Ferrara, Pavia.
The station is a few minutes walk from the historic center.
• BY PLANE
The Valerio Catullo Airport of Villafranca di Verona is approx. 40 Km from Mantua.
There is a daily shuttle bus service that connects the airport with Verona Porta Nuova station.
First runs from the station to the airport at 5.15, 6.10 then every 20 minutes until 20.10, then every 40 minutes until 22.50.
