The oldest book and map fair in Italy,
established 1975
Mantova Libri Mappe Stampe antiques fair carries on a tradition started in 1975, when the first event in Italy entirely dedicated to antique prints, maps and books was held in Mantua.
Over forty italian and international exhibitors (including specialist bookshops and professional antique prints and maps dealers) have already confirmed their attendance to this renowned and most awaited fair.
Antique books, such as the 16th-century printed books by famous printers like Manunzio and Giunta, rare and curious prints dating from the 16th through to the 20th centuries and a large variety of antique maps and prints (always original and garanteed by professional dealers) attract the interest of enthusiastic visitors and satisfy even the most demanding collectors.
A special section of the fair is dedicated to the extraordinary world of cartography and includes maps, atlases, topographic maps.
Some antique dealers, specialized in Old Masters, expose collections of works by "famous engravers" (Grandi Maestri) such as Durer, Raimondi, Ghisi.
